Most sites that say "no sign up" mean a gallery of other people's pictures, or a form that asks for an email before anything renders. This one means a working Generate button. A signed-out visitor presses it once and a real image comes back from our own GPU, on the same pipeline a paying account uses. Then it stops, on purpose, and this page explains exactly where.
The first Generate press from a signed-out browser mints a throwaway session behind the scenes and submits the job under it. From that instant the app is signed in as far as every other part of the product is concerned — one real user, one real job row, one real file in storage. There is no separate demo path, which is the reason the result is a genuine render and not a cached sample.
That run is pinned. It uses Z-Image Turbo on our own GPU, one copy, on the normal queue lane, and the pin is not negotiable from the interface. The reason is money rather than product design: a visitor who has not signed up has no billing relationship with us, so the free picture has to run on hardware we already own instead of on a provider that invoices per call.
One consequence is visible in the model picker. A signed-out visitor's list contains no own-GPU model at all — those rows are attached to an account — so the free picture reaches Z-Image Turbo through a pinned catalogue entry rather than through the picker you can see. If you were wondering why the fast local models appear only after signing in, that is why.
Which plan: No account is needed for the first picture. Everything after it — the ⚡20-a-day refilling wallet, the assets library, chat, the other own-GPU models — needs a free account, which takes an email and no card.
Open the composer with a prompt loaded — Fills the prompt bar. Nothing runs until you press Generate yourself.
The trial wallet is green credits only and it does not refill, and the account offer opens as soon as that first request is accepted. This is deliberate: a refilling guest wallet would be the free plan, and then signing up would sell nothing. When the wallet is empty the composer shows the account offer rather than a price refusal, because "insufficient credits" is the wrong sentence for somebody who has not run out of anything — they have reached the end of the sample.

Watch out: Five trials per IP address a day, one per browser a day. The address cap is deliberately above one because an office, a campus and a household all arrive as a single address, and turning away the second person through the door is a worse failure than serving one duplicate.
The trial's identity and its claim secret sit in this browser's local storage, and the claim survives a closed tab. You can make your picture, leave, come back tomorrow and sign up, and the claim still finds the trial. That is what makes the offer "keep this and get more" rather than "start over, registered".
Signing up also switches the wallet. A new account starts with a green balance that refills toward ⚡20 a day at roughly one credit every 72 minutes, and zero gold. Green pays for models on our own GPUs; gold is bought with money and pays for the hosted models from Google, ByteDance and OpenAI. Nothing about the free picture buys you gold, and nothing about signing up does either.
A farmed trial buys about one credit of our own GPU time. That is small enough that the rate limits do not have to be strict, and it is also why we would rather give a stranger a real render than a watermarked thumbnail of one. What it cannot be is a standing service: the same GPU serves every paying account's queue, and an unbounded guest lane would be paid for by the people already waiting in it.
If the single picture is not enough to judge the product, the free account is the honest next step rather than the upsell. It costs nothing, it refills every day, and it reaches four own-GPU image models plus GPT Image 2. The place it genuinely stops is the hosted frontier models, which bill us per call and therefore need gold credits.
Not for the first picture. The session is minted automatically when you press Generate and is tied to the browser, not to you. An email is only needed at the point where you want to keep the result and get a daily allowance.
